Entitled ‘Change the Record’, the conference will examine the changing nature of archive records and material, and explore how archivists are responding to that change. The BAC’s annual conference will look at how shifts in the technology landscape have impacted records creation and use. A packed programme of speakers will examine these issues from both a theoretical and practical viewpoint, using case studies of best practice to inform debate.
The conference will be held a Harper Collins, 1 London Bridge Street, London on Tuesday 21 November, and will be followed by the Wadsworth prize for Business History.
Please visit the Bruynzeel stand to pick up free giveaways and talk to us about the storage system your collection deserves. We’ll be on hand to offer free advice and guidance to those interested in storage of business and commercial archives.
Attendees to the conference are also invited to the prize giving event for the BAC’s Wadsworth Prize for Business History, which will be held from 6-8pm at the same venue.
Further information about the day’s programme will be released via the Business Archives Council Conference website page.
An early bird rate for BAC members will be available until 13 October.
