Kellogg’s wanted to create an attractive office design that would reflect the spirit and values of the company. Central to the brief was to create a feel-good factor in the new office environment.
The solution
The office space is equipped with conference islands and a high density mobile shelving system, Compactus® Electro. This approach maximizes storage capacity without compromising the amount of floor space available for work and meeting areas. The design of the outer walls of the Compactus® Electro features an ear of wheat to create a visual link to the raw material used in Kellogg’s products, including its world-famous breakfast cereals. The mobile cabinets are fitted with acoustic material to reduce echo and noise pollution in the office environment. These acoustic features work so effectively that an installation of a special acoustic ceiling has proved to be unnecessary.
